John Venema
You need to run FTX Central and select the 'Europe' worldwide region on the left.

Max Holzhofer
but john, there is no Europe listed, although it shows that its installed? in addition to that: Upon activating Global.. it says : Apply region error report. FSX File does not exist: F:\Microsoft Flightsimulator X\ORBX\Scripts\Custom.gb_base\default.xml but the not found EUROPE button remains missing

Max Holzhofer
in FTX central, I cant choose between europe and Global ? An I have no idea where to differentiate between hybrid and non hybrid mode
Nick Cooper
Once you have installed Global and OpenLC and the latest libraries, open FTX Central and click on Apply Group. Because you only have the two products, you will have no choice other than Global. They are both active all the time. If you try the terrain.cfg fix, the same, click on Apply Group. Nick Cooper
It does look as if your terrain.cfg file is damaged. Did you apply the fix or perhaps you need to apply it again.
Max Holzhofer
Thanks Nick, I managed to fix that texture mess problem. But now I am wondering if thats all, the europe addition has to offer. Especially I was wondering why the isle crete, is looking that edged. thanks in advance
Rob Abernathy
Did Crete look like this before you installed FTXGlobal and OpenLC EU? I mean the angular coast line. If so, then the program FTXVector will fix this and is a world wide program.
Nick Cooper
The Global set is made up of three parts. Global base replaces the default textures. Open LC arranges these textures to best reflect what is there in the real world. Vector provides far more accurate coastlines, shorelines, roads, rivers and so on. Crete looks like this once Vector is added.
