fabs79
Hi, I just flew vom Lake Tahoe to Mammoth Lake and noticed these strange black missing textures on Mammoth Lake: I have NorCal for P3DV3 installed and I also installed the latest ORBX libraries. Reinstalling NorCal didn`t fix the issue. Any ideas? Thanks, Fabian
Nick Cooper
Probably you should switch off the frozen water option in the Vector Control panel.
fabs79
Thanks, I'll try this later. Although I'm wondering why this could matter in the summer season. Cheers Fabian
Nick Cooper
It's a known fault and has nothing to do with the time of year.
Holger Sandmann
Hi there, it's indeed a known issue with Global Vector's approach to automatically switch lakes and rivers to ice during winter months. FYI, Lake Crowley (the lake in your screenshot) is outside of the NCA boundary, which is why reinstalling that product didn't make any difference. fabs79
Thanks Holger. Strangely enough, after I unticked the frozen lakes option in the NCA control panel, the lake looks normal again, even though it is outside the coverage area. BTW is there a chance LM could fix this in a future update? The frozen lakes add a lot to the atmosphere. Cheers, Fabian
