vegasjon
After having a lot of issues with my Win 10 installation, I formatted my drive and installed Win 7-64. I am running FSX with acceleration, and when I attempted to install the first of many ORBX apps which was Global Base, I get an error at the very end of the installation that states, "Could not load type 'System.Runtime.CompilerServices.IAsyncStateMachine' from assembly 'mscorlib, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral.PublicKey Token=b77a5c561934 at CentralSetup.MainWindow..... And a bit more, but you get the idea. I got this after installing Global Base as well as when I tried to install the latest ORBX Libs- For whatever reason. FTX Central did not install at all at the end of the installation procedure. Any thoughts anyone?
Penzoil3
Install NET 4.
Nick Cooper
Actually, version 4.5 is included. What is required is to install all the versions up to 4.5 which are not.
Jon Clarke
Here is a good site which gives the link to all versions. http://www.askvg.com/what-is-microsoft-net-framework-download-links-for-all-versions-inside/
vegasjon
I verified that 4.5 was already installed, so you're saying I need to install all previous versions of .NET Framework- 1.0-3.5? I'd have to uninstall the current 4.5 since it wont let me install an older version...
Nick Cooper
The windows 10 installation iso comes with all the files you need. This page explains how to do this. In Windows 10 you do not "install" the earlier versions, instead you go to this screen and activate it.
