condorpilot
Hey everyone! I am not sure whether this is a topic already discussed. Two days ago I got myself FTX Global Base - installation (run as admin) worked out totally fine, following the instructions in the manual. Current library is also installed. FTX Global is set to "active" in FTX Central 2. But in FSX I cannot see any difference, meaning that FTX did not seem to have overwritten the FSX standard ground textures. Unfotunately I have not found an appropiate solution on the internet so I'm trying to find an answer as a newbie in this forum. Thank you very much in advance! Nick Cooper
Hello Robert and welcome to the forums. A screen shot of what you do see might be useful, to include coordinates so a comparison can be made. Do you have FSX boxed or FSX Steam Edition? You might also make a diagnostic report using FTX Central and post the reference number that it generates here, if you wish and we can have a look at the installed file structure. The code of my diagnostic report is "ot9ab2c9e3236c7debdafc0af9bff5b039" Regards, Robert f.
Nick Cooper
Thank you Robert. I can see nothing wrong with your files, or indeed your screen shot. What you are seeing is indeed FTX Global textures. This is what I see, the same as you do. These are default textures
