Does EGTR really have palm trees in real life?  In the UK?  I spent three years there and never saw a palm tree.  The video on the airport shows palm trees though.

Palm trees would definitely not be common inland towards London. They are common down in Cornwall (towards the south west). Having said that, I grow a few palm trees in my back garden here in Northern Ireland - but they grow very slow taking about 10 years to reach 8 feet tall. It might be possible that the airport planted a few intentionally and they would survive but not be the size of palm trees in warmer climates.

Hi Alex, that looks like the same one on this site.  I was looking at all the airports you have for the UK and I saw that this one's video had palm trees.  If true then it's cool, I didn't know the UK could support them with such cold winters.

Thank you.
