Dadtom65
Hi DB50. If you have the latest FTX Central 2 installer it will tell you if any of your Orbx products that you have installed need updating. Plus unless your flying over a city in the England scenery, I would imagine the country side will be pretty dark. I have the England scenery but have never flown night time so can not really comment. Have you tried the new Lights Configerator, might help. Derek.
Holger Sandmann
Hi DB, make sure your FTX England is patched to v1.40 (August 2014) as that service pack 4 is the one that adds the 3D night lighting; see the bottom of the product page: https://www.fullterrain.com/product/eng Also, make sure that you've installed the current Orbx Libraries form our support page: https://www.fullterrain.com/support#Orbxlibs Cheers, Holger

Nick Cooper
All FTX products use a common library. Looking at your other posts and topics, I guess you have not yet installed it. If you click on this link you will see two library versions available to download. Choose the right one for your simulator, download the file, unzip it and run the installer. This will give you FTX Central v2 which is essentially a control panel for all your products and also add no end of features to your scenery which you will have been missing up to now. DB50
Thanks Nick by the way should i have England n active as well as the x in the hybrid box , i have global , vector , and open lc Thanks Doug
Nick Cooper
You should have a Europe icon. England will look at its best with this active but if you plan to fly in and out, set Global+Hybrid instead.

Bruceb
I had the same issue as the OP ie no 3D lights in UL/Ireland and running the 1.4 update has given me some 3D lights. I say some because what I am finding is that I get far fewer 3D lights in the UK and Ireland that I do in other Orbx areas such as Norway, Australia and those in North America. This is particularly striking when flying over large cities at night London looks very dim in comparison to say Oslo. What have I missed here? Thanks. Bruceb
What I have now found is that to have the full panoply of 3D lights in FTX UK/Ireland you need have OLC Europe10 layered below FTX entries in the scenery config or disabled. However for FTX Norway it doesn't seem to matter where the OLC Europe entries are to have all the 3D lights visible. Odd but that is the way it seems to be on my setup. Holger Sandmann
Hi Bruce, indeed, all of the openLC entries need to be at lower display priority than the FTX block of entries; see http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/81831-setting-your-openlc-entries/ Cheers, Holger
