    Aeroplane Heaven Electra 1.1.0 update

    Hi all, the update for the Aeroplane Heaven Electar is now available on Orbx Central.


    This Service Upgrade addresses a number of issues, bugs and improvements.
    ADDITIONS
    - Opening windows.
    - Amelia Earhart record attempt version
    - Post SU6 tailwheel lock now works.
    EXTERIOR MODEL
    - Glass changed to SU6 specifications.
    - Right tail mapping issue resolved
    - Added more degrees to the castering wheel.

    INTERIOR MODEL
    - Removal of toggle-able modern radios to a separate model set. ( see notes )
    - Flaps indicator correctly coded.
    - Mixture levers correctly animated.
    - Brightened the whiskey compass.
    - added inop tooltips to inoperable knobs.
    - changed the direction of the flap switch

    FLIGHT MODEL
    - Slightly lowered the right contact point to ensure that if you don't move the empty CG
    weight it will sit correctly.
    - added copilots weights to payload.
    SOUND
    - Lowered sound by 8.21 db each sound. Original sounds can be found in the 7Zip file in
    the main directory.
    NOTES
    1. Diagonal "glitch" was the window and not a glitch. An electra has 2 windows on the side
    that slide. In version 1.0 we did not have the windows opening. Now we have and
    therefore this "glitch" should now make sense.
    2. Fuel needles are correct and correctly indicate percentage of fuel. If you aren't seeing
    this then this almost certainly has something to do with your units settings and/or your
    actual windows system settings.
    3. To get the Sperry to work the AS3x was moved to a separate model with separate
    settings. This means you will see 3 electra base models in the aircraft chooser.
    4. Earhart's Electra carried extra fuel and the range was estimated at 4500 miles with
    proper engine management. We have done our best to replicate this but of course she
    never finished the flight so we'll never know whether the estimates were correct.

    Drzewiecki Design KDCA & RJAA updates (MSFS)

    Hi all, a couple of updates from Drzewiecki Design are now availbale on Orbx Central.

     

    RJAA changelog
    - Fixed LOD display for airport vehicles, static aircraft, terminal interiors, and 3D people.
    - Fixed wrong start locations on runways
    - Fixed wrong horizontal taxiway signs on taxiways
    - Added missing horizontal taxiway signs
    - Static 747-8F replaced with newer model
    - All jetways made operational and compatible with SU6
    - Fixed jetway display from distance
    - Vegetation fixes
    - 3D people added inside terminals
    - New glass effects an all glass surfaces
    - Interior details added inside Terminal 1
    - Parallax effects added for some shops inside Terminals 1, 2 and 3
    - Photoscenery updated near the new East apron
    - Stands 441-450 and 427-431 updated
    - Stands 610-614 added
    - The no-static version provided
    - Numerous fixes of models and textures

     

     

    KDCA changelog

    Aeroplane Heaven support query

    Orbx, which is a wonderful company and well supported by clients, should do a better job of vetting and policing their suppliers.

     

    I purchased the C140 for MSFS and there are a couple things that really need attention but absolutely no response from AH.

     

    Please Orbx - get involved with this supplier.

     

    Hi Dane, I've checked with Aeroplane Heaven and the last contact they had from you was in October 2019 which was resolved. I'd suggest trying to contact them again of you have something more recent to raise.

    FS Academy - IFR update 1.4.0

    Hi all, an update to FS Academy IFr is now available on Orbx Central.

     

    This is a major quality of life update to IFR, which adds a multitude of improvements:
    -On-Screen objectives
    -Visible markers
    -Audio cleanup
    -Rebuilt and improved mission triggers, adding extra steps to missions
    -Many minor issues addressed

    Hi all, an update is now available on Orbx Central for the Long-EZ.

     

    RELEASE NOTES:
    Version 1.2.4 – Sim Update 6 compatibility update
    - Fixed Garmin Aera display (broken after SU6)
    - Canopy variable now linked to aircraft variable (should work fine in multiplayer)
    - New transponder code (supports all modes and IDENT)
    - COM Radio volume can now be changed
    - Fixed bug preventing autopilot GPS NAV mode

    Aeroplane Heaven Supermarine Spitfire Mk1A 1.5 update

    Hi all, an update is now available Orbx Central for the Aeroplane Heaven Supermarine Spitfire Mk1A.


    Major changes are:


    EXTERIOR MODEL

    Damage modeling added with regard to damaged prop on belly landing.

    Re-textured flaps and flap recesses in wings for more authenticity.


    INTERIOR MODEL

    Improved textures and extra detail in some areas.

    Revised coding for differential braking pressure

    De-icing pump now functional

    Inclusion of “differential braking disabled” click zone for those who want just rudder control for steering on ground.


    FLIGHT MODEL

    Differential braking adjusted

    Need list of currently available Orbx Xbox products...

    Assuming you own an Xbox, you can view what’s available in the Marketplace there.


    As of today, there is the Optica, NZ Mesh, London Landmarks, Singapore Landmarks and EGLC London City Airport available for Xbox. Onestore (I.e. not Steam)) customers that have purchased these titles through the Marketplace for the PC can access them on the Xbox provided they use the same gamertag across both devices.
