  1. Hi

    Please try this.

Open Orbx Central and go to settings/help and run the sync simulator function, and then close Orbx Central.

    Then,

    1. Delete any rolling cache.

    2. Delete the Content.xml file.

    (AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Content.xml)

    3. Delete the simulator .dat files

    (AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\SceneryIndexes\*.dat)

Then restart the sim and check.

  2. Hi Rein

    Not weird at all...

Orbx products are downloaded and unzipped to your C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\Temp folder and sometimes need up to 3x their install size before they get installed to the simulator location, then after the install is complete, they are removed from your C:\ drive. You can move the Temp folder to a drive with more space using the option in Orbx Central settings\downloader.

  3. Hi

You will need to go to settings/Libraries and create a new Library in a location of your choosing, this is required for the installation of ObjectFlow , then it will be installed and use 7mb of space in that new folder, and everything will work properly. You do not need to use this folder for anything else, Orbx Central will then give you the choice to install your products to that folder or to the root simulator folder.

If you have already created an external library location using Orbx Central, then just simply install Orbx Objectflow.

  4. Thanks

I don't recall it ever being a common occurrence with Orbx, in fact, they have provided massive amounts of free updates and upgrades for new sim versions for many years now. So customers that imply otherwise, we need to ask.

In regards to the removal of the statics option, it is my understanding that it is an ability not made available by MSFS/Asobo itself. I am sure developers would add it if they could.

  5. Hi

    I also answered your support ticket# 31569.

First run the new installed flight simulator so it will write new registry entries, then shut it down.
    Then restart your PC.
Then open Orbx Central and select the simulator from the dropdown menu if need be.
Then go to settings/help and run the sync simulator function.

    Cheers

    Doug
