Don, if John is correct about as the key that MS looks for when starting up then you only need to go to the Microsoft Store - Library lower left - Games and it will show if installed or not.

The aircraft you see on the map are airfields and airports. If you click on the last icon on the header = blue ball, view in Google Earth on web, it will show just a bare version, as the pics.

If you uncheck one in your sim scenery and load at a specific place and check the look, you can activate that one again and uncheck the other, allow the scenery to reload and verify the appearance of that software.

I have Vector P3Dv5 installed but unchecked in my scenery library, there is no mention of FTX_VECTOR_FixedAPT.
I do have Orbx Vector installed and active in P3Dv4 where that file is shown.
I do not know if it is part of Orbx Global OpenLC North America, maybe @Nick Cooper could answer that.
