  1. Hi Don,

I too have been following this thread, but as a newcomer to MSFS I have no 'box of tricks' to help you.

For what it's worth - I had a new pc last year with W11. I keep W11 up to date. I purchased MSFS from Steam. I downloaded the Sim update yesterday. No serious problems but it did change a couple of my settings which I have now fixed.

    I agree with Nick's note above -

In the light of that, the logical solution does not rest in replacing either Windows 11, which in

my experience is the most stable Windows version yet, or Microsoft Flight Simulator, Microsoft

Store version with the Steam version.

I do think that John Dow has made a good point -

My guess is that you need to uninstall that one, I doubt that Microsoft allows two copies to be installed concurrently.

Given that MSFS is online whenever it runs, I expect that it does check if that licence is being used on another pc.

I hope that you find a quick solution and wish you good luck.

  2. A.  Probably the Kodiak amphibian. Good for exploring and can land most places, ideal for the coast.

    B. SR71 Blackbird at Mach 3 and 80,000'. Anything less would remind me of the many long boring flights that I have made in real life.

    C. Not easy - either a Spitfire for sheer fun, or maybe Piper Arrow.

    D. Pilatus PC-12. Privately owned obviously and kitted out for luxury

    E.  Perhaps a Twin Otter which should cover most bases

    F. Anything small with great air conditioning

    G. Perhaps a V35 Bonanza or a Cessna 310. Fairly practical and ok for slower sightseeing.

Great shots and the avatars looks here so natural as it always should be at airport sceneries. The train and the hotair-balloon are nice extra's in this airport-scenery.

Thanks Johnny. I totally agree with you. We are now starting to see 'people' rather than 'zombies' at airports :).

  4. I really appreciate all of the help here. Whilst LM would fit most of my needs, I am leaning towards Navigraph, especially as it now includes a VFR option.

    Thanks for your comments :).

    Best wishes

    Paul
