a memorable aircraft that many don't know about

Indeed it is John, and a world record holder  -

"On 7th November 1945, Group Captain Hugh Joseph Wilson, CBE, AFC, Royal Air Force, Commandant of the Empire Test Pilots’ School, Cranfield, set the first world speed record with a jet-propelled airplane, and the first speed record by an aircraft in excess of 600 miles per hour (965.6 kilometers per hour), when he flew the Gloster Meteor F.4 (Mk.IV) EE454 ‘Brittania’ to 975.68 kilometers per hour (606.36 miles per hour) at an altitude of 250 feet (76.2 meters) over a course from the Herne Bay Pier to Reculver Point, along the south coast of the Thames Estuary."

However, the first thing to check might be the PAJN inside Alaska mesh, if you have that.

Brilliant! It now all seems ok. I didn't realise that there was a PAJN folder inside Alaska Mesh. I deleted it and restarted MSFS with my usual full community folder.

    Many thanks Nick. :)

  3. Hi Doug and Nick,

I did steps 1 and 2 above. Restarted the sim and the problem was still there.

I then did step 3. Restarted the sim and the problem was solved!

The problem is (I now assume) that something in my community folder is the cause of the problem?

I have 664 folders directly in my community folder. I find the thought of testing each one with PAJN quite daunting!

I don't have another PAJN in my community folder Nick.

Can you suggest where I go from here please?

    Thanks

    Paul

  4. Yesterday, I downloaded and installed PAJN via Central as I do for all of my purchases.

Externally the airport seems ok. The problem is when I go inside the terminal. It does not display correctly.

I uninstalled the product (via Central) and reinstalled. I also did the Verify files check. But there was no change to the internal problem.

I then loaded a different Orbx product (in case the issue was MSFS). All was fine with that airport and I was able to go inside the terminal as normal.

Can you help solve my problem please?

    Thanks

    Hi Paul

    These are outstanding!

I especially like the ambience of the second to last one.:)

It made me think "doesn't matter what is going on around them, they only have eyes for each other".

One minor thing , that I struggled with until I found out what had happened.  In Su10 I think it was , Asobo added a custom airport and scenery for KAVX, along

    with the harbour area.

It's almost a perfect overlay for the Orbx one, but not quite e.g. there are two flags in the inner court yard and some vehicles

are misplaced with respect to the Orbx folks as well as some buildings are in odd places down by the harbour.

If you go into the content manager , you can search for KAVX and delete it . This will remove the Asobo rendering and allow the Orbx

work to render correctly. If you ever want it back, you can just reinstall it, as it will show in the content manager as uninstalled.

Cheers & just gorgeous images :)

    I love em all!!

    Pete

Thanks Pete, Glad that you liked them.

It shows how old and forgetful I am becoming! I remember that problem and thought that I had deleted it. As you rightly say, it is still there. I will delete it (again? ) today.

    Thanks for reminding me ;)
