toby23
On a fresh v2.5 install, with only FTX Global and FTX LC EU, the seasons are not always showing correctly. I see autumn textures in summer and sometimes just autumn trees in summer. How do I fix this? All ORBX Libs are up to date.
Guest
Hi, Do you have any examples with screenshots please ? in FSX and P3D, seasons are cut by group of months
toby23
Hi Richard, No time for screenshots at the moment, have to leave for a business trip. If I select the season only in the scenario set-up, this happens e.g. summer, spring etc. I know what I should see and autumn textures in spring/summer is not right. I've never seen this behaviour before but then again, I've never installed FTX Global and LC only into a vanilla v2.5 install before either. Holger Sandmann
Hi there, difficult to say whether anything is wrong without specific location and dates. However, don't assume selecting a specific season in the set-up menu will in fact give you those seasonal variants on the ground. All this does is pick a fixed date but whether that translates into the chosen season being displayed at the user aircraft's location is not certain at all. The seasons control file in FSX/P3D work on a monthly temporal resolution and a spatial resolution of ~1.5 sq km; for more information see http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/86437-season-transition-problems/ http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/89258-seasons-in-ftx-norway/ If you're not convinced that the above explains what you're seeing then post specific information and perhaps some screenshots upon your return. Cheers, Holger
toby23
It was on the default date at EGLL. I also tried the actual date, which was 29.05, around 10:00am. Either way, I shouldn't be seeing autumn textures for a few months yet.,
