Stillwater
The title says all. I did not see them in the .kmz file, but the energy country should have similar fields like Alaska or Australia. And I would not want to miss them on my current round tour ...
Ripcord
Perhaps none added by ORBX for FTX Norway (though they did add 4 platforms for Scotland) but there might be some default FSX rigs to be found: http://www.simtours.net/oilplatform.php
jabble
Checking with Plan-G, I can see a bunch of NDBs and DMEs in the North Sea, but no actual helipads showing up. I've not tried flying to the locations to see what's there.
Ripcord
That doesn't mean that the helipads aren't there, they just do not have heli-starts associated with an ICAO code. This would be a very easy but very very cool little project for somebody to create as a 'community addon'.... there are two types of oil platform, detailed and basic, in the FSX libraries, and both are quite good. All that one would need to do is place them and (hopefully) make a good listing of them as they went.

Hi, Ideally, if something is added, it is a handful of platforms such as the one detailed in the North Sea, off the coast of the Netherlands — Oil Rig Roterdan: Like that - P3Dv2.5, see: Latidude: N52° 12.05' Longitude: E3° 29.24' Altitude: +146 Heading: 209.6 Certainly I would love to get such improvement or addon! Cheers,
jabble
I wouldn't have a clue where to start, but I guess this might make a good beginner project if the structure is ready-to-use in an editor, as there won't be any issues about terrain mesh or textures. Ripcord
Do you have an object placement utility such as Instant Scenery? I am sure there are several good video tutorials online.
jabble
I have absolutely no editor of any kind, and I've never looked into using one. So if I were to try it, I'd be a complete noob. Is Instant Scenery a good place to start?
egntpilot
Hi, Hopefully orbx are ok with this but you might want to check out the offshore development group website, www.fs-odg.com, lots of rigs, ships etc. hope this helps Steve
