ukv3375
A few days ago I installed FTX Global, Vector and Open LC Europe - all magic but I have now noticed that I don't have any mouse-over text on cockpit buttons/gauges etc, in FSX stock planes or a whole bunch of freeware planes that I have. I can't think of anything else that has changed on my PC and I don't think its anything to do with PC power/workload as I haven't noticed any negative performance issues with ORBX scenery. Any ideas? Thanks
Stewart Hobson
Use windowed mode--full screen mode won't show the mouse-over text.
ukv3375
Quick response Stewart......I am using windowed mode.....the pointer changes to a hand/finger but I'm not getting the text - this is a major problem where the button controls calibration for AP altitude, for example....? Ben McClintock
Hi ukv3375, Check that you have tooltips enabled, I believe they can be found in the FSX realism settings menu
anfield ace
Also, If you've installed DX 10, I believe that doesn't show mouse click info either? in full screen! Cheers,

ukv3375
Thanks all - Ben, I couldn't find where to turn on tool-tips - I only found flying tips, which were turned on....I toggled this and as if by magic, the mouse-over text now appears though I think that must be coincidence! I hate mysteries.... Its good to know you guys are out there for if I need help again.
