luckyb52
Hi , I'm running Windows 8.1. I had FSX SE with FTX Global Base (as well as Global Vector, some regions and airports) working great on Drive J: . I have no other FSX or any P3D on my system. I uninstalled Steam and deleted the steam folder. I downloaded the FTX Global Uninstaller tool and successfully ran it. I removed all traces of Orbx from AppData/ Roaming and Local, as well as the Recycle bin. I removed all Orbx/FTX shortcuts from the startup and App screens. I installed Steam and FSX SE on drive F:. So far so good. I tried to install FTX Global Base on F: It decides to load to the old location in J:. What do I do to update FX Global Base's loading path? Thanks so very much in advance for your help! Best, Lucky ///////////////
Venturi
You could try a registry tool to point to your new installation. This one is flight one but ORBX has one as well in the freebie section http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=librar the link for some reason wont work. Just google flight 1 registry repair tool
luckyb52
Thank you, Zoran. You've used it and it worked? Gotta be careful when tweaking the registry... Lucky
Venturi
Depends on how you have your system set up , it works for most people.. Sent from my IdeaTabA1000-G using Tapatalk
