Portland bridges change to "generic" with FTX PNW

Hello,

A default installation of FSX and P3D have bridge models for all of the bridges in Portland across the Willamette River. After installing FTX Pacific Northwest region, the bridges appear to just be "generic" bridges instead of the real-life bridges. Is this expected?

Base P3D install + FTX Global:

These three bridges are just examples, I think most of the bridges in Portland are affected. Is this expected? Back when I was using FSX the same thing happened.

Hi there,

that's actually by design; see here for the explanation: http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/17190-i5-bridges-at-kvuo/?p=151388

Almost forgot: I believe all of those bridges, and more, are included as custom models (with proper platforms for road traffic) by Tim's Portland add-on, from our freeware page: https://www.fullterrain.com/freeware

Cheers, Holger

Yes, this was the package I was referring to in my post above.

Ah, gotcha. I was wondering about that Portland add-on, but I think I remember reading recently in another post that it hasn't been updated to work with P3D yet so unfortunately I might be stuck with the default bridges for now unless I'm mistaken about the P3D support.

Thanks,

Matthew
