sidfadc
Hi, I have FTX Global, FTX ENG, SCO & PNW Demo. In my FTX view I have the following icons Global, Europe and Pacific. I've read the very detailed PDF about flying into different regions but I'm still a bit confused. It says if you have more than one region installed and want to fly from and too you should tick the Hybrid option, ok fine that's easy enough. The confusion is this, if I want to fly from Heathrow to Paris I'm obviously flying from England to France which in terms of the setup in FTX Central is from FTX ENG to Global. Soooo...do I tick hybrid mode and enable FTX Global > then switch to Europe, enable that and start flying considering I want to take off from Heathrow?? Or do I just tick hybrid mode, enable FTX Global and don't bother with the Europe option in FTX Central? Cheers Sid
Stewart Hobson
I believe you would click Hybrid, since you are flying from an FTX full region (England) to an FTX global area (France). This is very similar to "Flight Plan E", London to New York, on pg. 34 of the new Beginners' Guides, Vol. 1. Hope this helps. Stew
sidfadc
thanks for the reply. So I leave FTX Central set to Global with Hybrid ticked?
Stewart Hobson
thanks for the reply. So I leave FTX Central set to Global with Hybrid ticked? Yes, I believe so, if you're still planning your flight from England to France.
