Black textures usually indicate missing texture files or an incomplete installation, or missing libraries, or all of the above.

Do you have the FTX AU GOLD region installed? The Port Macquarie freeware airport is designed to be used with the FTX addon, specifically AU GOLD region.

I Recommend you go try the FTX AU_Blue - Tasmania Demo here http://fullterrain.com/freeware.html it gives you the whole Island to fly around

All the FTX payware/freeware airports are designed to blend in perfectly with the FTX Landclass scenery packs, Consisting of The Blue, Gold, Green and Red Regions, Put all of them together and you will have the whole continent of Australia

and also apart from the FTX Freeware available here http://fullterrain.com/freeware.html

you can also download for free another 250+ free airfields for Australia from OZx http://aussiex.org , They also are designed to blend in perfectly with the FTX Landclass regions

Hope that helps

Cheers

Tim

Thanks

Does the Tasmania demo include an airport.

Can I have more Details please

Calum

The Tasmania demo covers a very large area and lots of airports - especially if you download OZx to go with it. Also included in the Tasmania demo is the Orbx Freeware Launceston Airport. :)

I Just tried the Demo and it is great, but as I stated in my post YMML on FSX in the payware section, a few minutes after I start flying the screen freezes, a minute or so later FSX exits and a Fatal error has occoured window comes up. THis has only started After I have Purchased and Installed YMMLSP1 for FSX. THis Happens EVERY time I Fly

Can you please help me fix this problem as it is Extremely annoying

Hi Calum,

I may assume by looking at your specs that you are using Windows XP and not Vista, it would be advisable to try and run things at lower settings and up it step by step to see where the system starts to get "buggy" and than set it one notch back.

I'd also recommend that if you have XP that you make sure that you have SP3 installed for it, also would it be insterresting to know wich Vidcard you have in your system as that is also a part of the equation
