doganaslan
Hello everyone; First of all thank you for this great product,Ä° bought Ftx Global Base almost 3 weeks ago but im having some problems im not an expert just trying to make my hobby more realistic. Ä° downloaded and installed latest version of global base(1.30) from flightsim Store but cant open configuration tool when i double click to the application nothing happens im trying to disable some airports from config tool but i couldnt. Do i have to buy another product to make this work %100 or am i missing something during installation. i believe my system is more than enough to handle this product Window 7 64bit i7 4930k X2 Gtx 780 64gb ram My add ons ; Ftx Global Base,Pmdg 777,Rex Essential,Taxi2gate LTBA when i install global base and run fsx with dx10 images were blurry then i realised i need to apply Dx10 fixer and put Texture_id1 in scenery.cfg i did that everything seems ok but when i launch Fsx LTBA airport runway lights are gone they told me i need to remove ltba from config tool but i cant open the application as i told you. Please help me,Thank you Best Regards
Stewart Hobson
To disable airports requires that you have Global Vector. Global Base has no such tool. That being said, I'm not sure disabling LTBA will solve your runway lights problem. That's as much as I can help you.

For example which one i need to install first or do i need to download extra staff from here after purchase global vector
Nick Cooper
I think you need perhaps to slow down a little. FTX Global Base consists of replacement textures and contains nothing that can affect lighting at an addon airport. FTX Vector is a different addon which does indeed vastly improve the accuracy of coastlines, shorelines, roads, rivers, railways and so on. It also contains files which can modify the default airports to make them better fit addon mesh. Some of these are not entirely compatible with some addon airports. If you don't have FTX Vector, you need not and in fact cannot disable or enable anything to do with FTX which will affect airports, whether addon or not. The missing lights at Ataturk Airport have probably far more to do with running FSX in the DX10 preview mode. If you study, not just read, Steve Parsons' Dx10 Fixer manual, it explains very well how to address problems with airport lighting. It might be better for you to reset FSX to Dx9, using the Fixer and I wouldn't be surprised if your airport lights will return. What ever you decide to do, my advice for now is to make what you already have work correctly before you even consider further addons.

Nick Cooper
I do, open the manual in the Dx10 Fixer at Page 58 and read the section headed Legacy Airport Lights. It will show you what to do and has solved lighting problems at many of my addon airports.
