GermanyGreece93
Hey, just one question. Is this normal, that I have square textures ? http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshotsv2/images/2014/11/28/CQ694.jpg
Wolter van der Spoel
Hi No those are not normal textures, question is what do you have installed and in what order, and I am not referring to FTX only sceneries, I mean all what you have there running on your system lack of information from you makes it a bit of a guessing game what the culprit could be

GermanyGreece93
Today I found another problem which could be the reason for the other problem. Wolter van der Spoel
Make sure you have Administrator rights Make sure your fsX folder is excluded from continuous scanning by your Anti Virus program Make sure to take ownership of the complete fsX main folder => http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc753659.aspx Make sure that you disable the write protection, right click main folder, select properties and un-tick the read only check box and hit OK. Always install the software as Administrator, right-click the .exe file and select to "Run as Administrator"
GermanyGreece93
I have now done everything mentioned above. But the textures are still squared. I dont know, what I can do more.
Holger Sandmann
Hi Alexander, can you provide the location and date please so that we can cross-check. There are agricultural areas with a distinct grid pattern so without knowing where you are we can't give a definite answer. The restore.bat error message isn't necessarily an issue; see http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/88280-access-to-the-path-orbxscriptsbackuprestorebat-is-denied/?p=804922 Cheers, Holger
GermanyGreece93
Hi Holger, many thanks for your answer. here are some locations: EDDM UKBB
Holger Sandmann
Hi there, this is what I see at both airports during summer months. Not much in terms of square fields near EDDM but definitely east of UKBB. If your scenery looks different (assuming you use just Global base and openLC Europe and have it configured correctly as per the pdf in Wolter's second post) then please post some screenshots of the same area. Cheers, Holger
GermanyGreece93
i have now made some screenshots. munich looks normal now ( i think ), but UKBB as again quared textures. http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshotsv2/lk6 http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshotsv2/lk0

Holger Sandmann
Hi there, as I've tried to explain in my previous post there is no problem, what you're seeing is intended. At those specific location there probably are large fields in the real world and this particular "generic" agricultural class was the best fit from the choices that were available.
