jpreou
Hi Guys, after re-installing P3Dv2 from scratch, oh, weeks ago ... I've been gradually working through re-installing all my ORBX. This morning = all the freeware airports. There's a lot of them; any chance of having them bundled into a single installer? I know this was don't with packs 1-7 after a similar request. There are 19 US packs now, with 13 individual files.1-7 were bundled, but even so: Right-click, Run as administrator Yes Next Next I agree... Next P3Dv2 Next Next Finish ...13 times Then there are the six EU packs... not including EDCG, EDVR or EO49 ... and finally of course, libraries last as always. TWO packs, one for US and one for EU (not including 'full' airports like EDCG, etc) would sure make installation life easier Just a thought... Love all your work guys ... it is now time to go flying, but since my pedals are broken, ground work, leaving and arriving are more 'exciting' than usual these days
John Dow
Just a thought but I think the process of creating the FREEware airports takes considerably longer than the few minutes the onerous task of re-installing occupies. Even compiling all the existing airports into a single installer would exceed the task many times over.
Neil Hill
Hi Guys, I've suggested to Ed to release the next Pack (#20) and at the same time gather all 20 up and make a single installer for all of them. He know better than I if that's reasonable but hopefully it can be done. Cheers, Neil
jpreou
Have no idea how much effort us involved, not being a dev. If it can be done then great, and if not I'm not going to cry about it! It was merely a suggestion. Cheers either way.
