bradley27
Just updated FTX Global, Vector and the Libs to their latest builds. In Germany i am seeing some strange happenings. Near Dusseldorf a section of river has been clearly elevated and it is visible from the airport. In Tegal buildings and trees stand in lakes and rivers in areas they shouldn't be. I use all of the German Airports by Aerosoft for these areas and i am aware these problems did not occur before. I have included some screenshots too. LarsA
Hello Bradley, hello Richard, this seems not to be a general bug. I did the update to 1.20 yesterday without any problems and I also use the "Mega"-AS-Airports EDDL and EDDT together with FTX-Global, Vector, FTX-Landclass and FSGlobal. I don`t see any trees or buildings in the water- everything looks fine as before and as it should be. So I think it`s an individual configuration-problem...... bradley27
Well i firstly downloaded Global 1.30, installed that successfully, then moved onto installing OpenLC East as it suggests and that also installed successfully, the Vector update followed and then the latest Orbx Libs. I then had to reposition the FSX scenery library entries which was boring (the Global FTX config assist wouldnt move the OpenLC entries in bulk so i had to move them manually down to the point with "addon scenery" entries sitting ontop of OpenLC 1) all my other OBX stuff sits ontop of the "addon scenery" entry. Bernd Podhradsky
Hi! 1.) Please try to disable "Frozen Waters" in VECTOR Configuration Tool and check if there's still trees in the water. 2.) Which mesh do you have installed? Bernd
Friedi Gulder
Frozen Waters is not the problem. I checked it without a fault. I think it is rather the order in the scenery library
bradley27
I only use ORBX terrain products, no others Global 1.30 Vector 1.20 OpenLC Europe
Friedi Gulder
Hi Bradley, yes, I understand, but are the entries of Vector below Pilots Global 2010 and are the entries of Global below all Orbx software and is the libraries on top of the Orbx software? bradley27
Scroll alittle further up and i included two screenshots of the library currently. I dont have Global2010
Friedi Gulder
Hi, I have not noticed.Yes, this is optimal. I know that not advice. Then try this tip from Bernd. Thank you.
Bernd Podhradsky
Hi! If there's no mesh installed, rivers may much more often show these kinds of problems (because rivers are just overlays without flattening). Bernd
bradley27
Ok so strangely enough the Frozen Waters causes those problems, so i unchecked then reloaded FSX and most of the issies are fixed BUT of course instead of the raised water in Dusseldorf now its land and it looks wrong.... Bernd Podhradsky
Hi! These river anomalies are much more frequent when there's no (good quality) mesh installed. You mentioned not having Global 2010, but do you have any other mesh product? Bernd
bradley27
None, i only use the 3 ORBX FTX products OpenLC, Vector and Global.
