ACTIVE White boxes at dusk/dawn/night

I'm really not sure if this is an Orbx problem but I've only noticed it since the EU lighting update.

I now have white boxes showing where airport buildings are when viewed at quite a distance, even through fog.

 

I seem to remember reading about this aberation before somewhere but can't seem to find the answer.

Any help would be appreciated.

please be more specific. like coordinates and or ICAO code where the issue shows itself could be helpful for us to track it

Well blow me Wolter, you've done it.

The flight was from Liverpool EGGP, travelling North.

I've just loaded the same flight, time, season etc and can no longer replicate the problem.

 

You seem to have worked your wonders over the air waves.

sometimes after a fresh install it seems to be better, to like in the old fashioned way restart the puter and as if by magic the issues are gone, M$ works in myterious ways as well

I thought they were the lights on the airport, yes they can be seen from a long way off, but I actually quite like the effect sometimes. And it was like that before the lighting update. Last time I saw this it was at Welshpool last week around dusk in P3D2.3. I was in the A2A Piper, hmmm.

Greetings All,

After the update, I experienced something very similar approaching Cardiff from the south at about 2500 ft. As I got closer to the airport, the light began to separate into individual, distinct points of light... Very cool!
