terrainhugger
Hi there, I purchased the Orbx ftx South Island recently and can't get it to run correctly. It installed just as you have suggested it should and I have followed all the directions but when finished and I open FTC central and change from Default fsx to Oceania it comes up with all these errors? Any help greatly appreciated thanks
Nick Cooper
Welcome That picture is very hard to see as your avatar. I think the path to your installation is corrupt, it seems to read C:\Program Files |x86\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Simulator X\ORBX\Scripts\Backup\BLDA2.dds it should read C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Simulator X\ORBX\Scripts\Backup\BLDA2.dds If your Windows version is 64 bit, try navigating to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\microsoft games\flight simulator\10.0 using the Registry Editor and check the SetupPath entry. Nick Cooper
Right click on the task bar and select Task Manager. In the File Run new process menu box type Regedit and click on OK.
terrainhugger
Ran it again its still coming up with error: Could not find file "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\ORBX\Scripts\Backup\BLDA2.dds\terrain.cfg". Any ideas? thanks
Nick Cooper
Reading my first answer again, I hope I have not unintentionally misled you. The registry SetupPath should be C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X Please check that that is what is set and try again
Holger Sandmann
Hi terrainhugger, actually, it's much easier to check the Windows registry with one of the available freeware tools; see http://fullterrain.com/support.html#registry or http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=library or http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/FSX-Registry-Utility-Download-74741.html As for the actual error message, I assume you've already installed the current Orbx Libraries as mentioned in the NZSI installer menu? If not see http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/80787-ftc-central-exception/?hl=blda2.dds Cheers, Holger

Holger Sandmann
Hi there, which of the registry fixer tools did you use? That error still sounds like the registry entry isn't quite correct. Cheers, Holger
