Jack the Swede in Spain
Almost all preview pictures are taken in FSX and NOT P3D!!!! Why? Would´t it be nice if the beta testers were using the sim that even ORBX claims to be the future?
Magnus Farnes
Maybe because FSX is so much more unstable it makes more sense to beta test and look for errors and incompatibilities there..? If it runs smooth on FSX you'll bet it does on P3D
Iain Emms
Hello JJ I only have FSX so that's all I can do at the moment. But the other members of the team do post previews with P3D from time to time. cheers Iain
Mallard
Simple - what works in FSX will (is supposed to) work in P3D, but there are features in P3D that won't show in FSX. So Orbx is providing informaton for two platforms instead of just one. As soon as they develop P3D-only scenery things will of course be different... John Venema
If we only previewed on P3D then we would get protests from non-P3D customers. We strive find a balance between both platforms with our preview shots and videos. Most of our recent airport releases showed shots from both platforms. ChaoticBeauty
If screenshots are both from FSX and P3D, then they should be labelled to show on which platform they were taken.
John Venema
No they should not, each poster explains which platform they are using when posting screenshots.

Museumkeeper
Thanks JJJackson Now I'm blushing Seriously though, JV has the most difficult job in Orbx. He has to balance pleasing his customers with making a profit otherwise 'no Orbx' so JV keep doing what you are doing and we will all be happy. Kind regards Ian
hkterry
I agree what JFS said. Otherwise how about FS9, P3D V1.4, P3D 2.2 and so on, no ending.
