mickwilliams36
Hi, I've been using SweetFX for about a year now and find it an excellent addition to both FSX and P3D v2.2. I always found ENB Series to be a bit extreme for my liking, but the Configurator in SweetFX makes it easy to tweak lots of settings to get the sim to look how you like it. Wouldn't like flying without it... Mick.
miloguy
I just got this and have my fsx in its own folder on its own drive, where do I exactly put all this ?
wolfko
IMO there is no ned for SweetFX, ENB, shade and all those kind of applications in P3D2.2. The default lighting, ENB etc in P3D is just perfect.
miloguy
I only have fsx , do I need to download flightfx? to use this, saw a video on youtube about sweet fx and some one was using this too
Mallard
I have and use SweetFX with the FlightFX interface in FSX. The FlightFX interface makes changing things quite a bit easier, in my opinion... And the range of resulting effects is anywhere you want it to be Cheers Mallard
chik
http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/63205-global-enviroment-sweetfx/ You can give this a try but I only used it in FSX. Depending on your screen\display settings you can experiment using it in P3D as well. Although the default tint, color, gamma, etc between FSX and P3D is wildly different so to might be your results. thissmallfish
I like the results in FSX dx10 mode but unfortunately my FSX installation doesn't and usually bins it after 10 minutes or so. Shame.
adi518
I like the results in FSX dx10 mode but unfortunately my FSX installation doesn't and usually bins it after 10 minutes or so. Shame. There's a windows update that causes crashes in fsx (especially in dx10). Check in control panel add/remove, if you have this: KB2670838. If you have it, remove it and it will fix your crashes, guaranteed. --- I've made complete base SweetFX packages for P3D2 & FSX DX10: P3D2: http://www.mediafire.com/download/at5d09aheslw9ae/fsx_dx10_sfx_complete_25-04-14.rar FSX DX10: http://www.mediafire.com/download/at5d09aheslw9ae/fsx_dx10_sfx_complete_25-04-14.rar Edit: I uploaded the packages without the SweetFX DX9 files, since they're not needed for the correct operation of SweetFX. However, it is then causing a problem with SweetFX Configurator, where it won't detect that SweetFX is installed. If you already downloaded these, re-download to make sure you have the DX9 files included. My advice to you all, don't use old SweetFX packages, they're incorrect. Once you install my packages, you can start adding contrast mods, bloom, hdr, whatever you want. It's highly recommended to not alter the parameters under 'Lift Gama Gain' & 'LumaSharpen'. adi518
I accidentally pasted the link for the FSX package twice. Here's the correct link for P3D: http://www.mediafire.com/download/soidt5zh9k7rpou/p3d2_sfx_complete_25-04-14.rar Would be greatly appreciated if some mod could edit my previous post with the correct link and delete this one.
