Striker
I've tried all means to get FSX to say 'Velocity' as a call sign for Virgin Australia, I have tried these settings Original - atc_airline=Virgin, atc_flight_number=743, this works fine New - atc_airline=Velocity, atc_flight_number=743 ATC only repeats the 743 EditvoiceX pack displays "Velocity" as a standard phraseology and has assigned it to all pilots A freeware Ai traffic group released an airline update for FS9 with Velocity in it and can be converted and installed with EditvoicepackX, but, have done this, still no FSX. Why is it there but not recognised?
Stillwater
Hmmm, I am using the freeware AU traffic from http://fullterrain.com/product_traffic.html , and I do have Velocity announced (too often...)
Graham Eccleston
You will need to enter 'Velocity' under Telephony Designators in EditVoicepack for it to be recognised as an ATC Airline name.
Striker
I already have it there For some reason FTX free AI gets velocity to work, but if you have your own aircraft like the NGX738 in virgin livery and try to change it as mentioned to atc_airline=Velocity, atc_flight_number=743 ATC only repeats the 743 only 743 is repeated.
