  1. Don't know, flown in and out of Melbourne quite a few times in all weather in real world flights but I can't recall it looking like this, I have all the other Orbx Aussie airports and the colours and textures are spot on, not so Melbourne.
  2. A great depiction of Melbourne airport but the colour of the grass and it's texture surrounding the runways just doesn't seem right. The green is too deep and doesn't match that of the real airport, the texture seems more synthetic than bladed. Steve
  3. I have their YPKG freeware which is basic but better than default and I purchased their YMHB which is very good. I guess what I'm trying to say if that Orbx is an Aussie company founded roughly in 2005 and has grown to become a world leader in scenery design for flight simmers - it would be nice if they remembered their grass roots and humble beginnings and gave product rollout preference to major Australian Airports, particularly now that they have the added resources or Partner developers.
  4. I'm playing Devil's advocate here, but as a long time and devoted Orbx product purchaser (FSX, P3D, Xplane and MSFS) I'm a bit disappointed at the slow roll out of Aussie scenery for MSFS, we are sadly lacking YMML Melbourne, YBCG Goldcoast, YBCS Cairns, YBAS Alice Springs, YBRM Broome, YPMQ Port Macquarie - all previous Orbx products. We really need YPDN Darwin, YBMA Mount Isa, YPKG Kalgoorlie and YBTL Townsville to mention a few. Can we expect these airports for consideration. Steve
  5. Thanks John, Just seems strange that I download MSFS at the slow rate, can pause it, then immediately download a P3D update and get a consistent high rate for the whole download, go back to the MSFS download and the slow rate returns
  6. I have numerous Orbx products in P3D, XP11 and am now building up my library in MSFS, that said, the download speed, for MSFS airports and scenery are painfully slow. They start off at about 30MB/S for the first 50-100MBs then slow down to 40KB/S for the remaining download. it is ONLY MSFS that is affected, when updating P3D or XP11 I get a solid 20MB/s. A speedtest check shows all good with my connection as indicated in the attachment Any thoughts on why this is only happening with MSFS. Steve
  7. Todd, Would like to see YBMA, Mount Isa and YSBK Bankstown and maybe YSCn Camden please.
  8. YMBA - Mount Isa, the hub of Outback Queensland after YLRE Longreach(birthplace of Qantas) major base for the RFDS, yet there is no decent scenery available just the crappy stock with a few generic autogen buildings and terminal.
