ANSWERED Need Confirmation for False Positive - Day Night Switcher - Trojan Refroso

Hey,

 

I got this error with Day Night Switcher app few minutes ago after my malwarebytes anti-malware just got updated.  I just want to confirm that this is a false positive or not?

 

It is telling me it is a trojan Refroso.  I really hope this is a false positive.

False positive. When the day night switcher was first released there were a slew of anti-viruses that detected and quarantined the executable. Most of them seem to have gone away over time with AV companies updating their databases but it looks like there are still a few straggles

I too just found this...however the 2 results were moved to the quarantine section, i have read that these are infact false positives...so i have restored these 2 suspect finds...i hope this is all i have to do???

That should be all, Bradley. From memory most AV just quarantined the executables which is the majority of the day-night switcher

Just to add to this topic, last week I purchased the full version of Malwarebytes, and its detected two Trojan.Refroso as per Bradley's post above. I've taken them out of quarantine and restored them.
