VH-KDK Posted June 30, 2013 Share Posted June 30, 2013 A night time flight from Edinburgh to look at the lights. Full moon it's July 23rd. 1. Off from 06 and over one of the terminal buildings. 2. Over the threshold of 06 with Edinburgh in the background. 3. The Firth of Forth and it's famous bridges. Queensferry is between the bridges. 4. Dalmeny Park juts out into the Forth behind the rail bridge. 5. Despite it being 1 am there is still a glow on the northern horizon. The further north you go the brighter it gets. 6. Over North Queensferry with the 2 bridges and in the distance the airport. 7. A last look at the bridges before heading back to the airport. 8. Following the Queensferry Road(A90) at Cramond on the outskirts of Scotland's Capital. 9. Turning over Cramond and the Almond River. 10. At Cramond Bridge diving for finals on 24. 11. Horatio Posted June 30, 2013 Share Posted June 30, 2013 Really like those kind of shots Martyn..Back in the day - before I had ORBX scenery I used to do most of my flying at night..just in the cockpit glued to the instruments because the defaul scenery was so bad I didn't want to look at it...
