I have sailed under these condisions from 1981-86 with Beskytteren-class (only one ship in that class).Back then we used the Alouette III, chopper with rubber pontons. The Faroe Island and Greenland area is [almost] always a challenge regarding wether conditions. If look closely in the video, the Deck-Hook is used immediate after touch down, probably on auto to tie the Chopper to Deck-grill, I still admirer those Pilots and engineers.
