Shaw Island Airstrip - One of the lost airports of Washington State

I was testing settings on FSX out of Friday Harbor when I saw this strip of land over on Shaw Island .

I landed going up the hill and turned around up on top .

The strip is not only steep but has quite a bit of slope to the left .

I really like the hidden little gems of Orbx scenery .

I plan to fly out of here more often , now that I know where it is .

Fantastic....I love poking around in all of the nooks and crannies of the ORBX sceneries....looks like you stumbled on a real gem with this strip.
