I have used chrome and IE. I am hoping that someone can help me. Teedub
Wolter van der Spoel
Hi, I'd advice to use a download manager with resume option, like GetRight http://getright.com/

Ed Correia
This is from the FSS website in regards to failed downloads. They recommend using Internet Download Manager which has a free trial period. It appears your download is corrupt and the file will need to be downloaded again. Please clear out your browser cache and temporary files and restart your internet connection and computer before reattempting the download. Sometimes the corruption is due to the inability of the Windows inbuilt unzip facility to handle large files, we recommend downloading one of the following software : WinZip – http://www.winzip.com WinRAR – http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm 7zip – http://www.7-zip.org/ We also recommend using a download manager such as Internet Download Manager (http://www.internetdownloadmanager.com) which offers a free trial period to handle the transfer of large files from our servers. This program will ensure the download is resumed in the event that an interruption occurs on your connection to the server, which seems to be the case here. Alternatively you could use the free a free download manager from the Chrome store, for example >https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/downloadall/ajffocjdcmpgjmdfdfkdfdbkjafbkcke?utm_source=chrome-ntp-icon I personally use the excellent DownThemAll as my download manager which is free extension for Firefox. There have been cases of people having download issues, but they have all been resolved with the above suggestions.

Teedub
This is just about the most frustrating thing I have ever done. I finally got the download to work and the install, but setting the FTX to North America gives me this error: Could Not find a part of the path "C:\Program Files(x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\ORBX\Scripts\Backup\default.xml"
Ed Correia
Good to hear that the download worked. To overcome that error message, please download the latest Orbxlibs from our Support page http://www.fullterra...t.html#orbxlibs , that should fix that up. Sorry that is not what I'm suggesting, they also have a free trail version, that's what I was aiming at
Teedub
I finally got everything working. You have a beautiful product but the delivery system needs work. A Thread called "Get Started for the first time user" would be wonderful. I have been a professional software developer for 18 years at some of the biggest companies in the world and I had trouble installing it. The average dude hasn't got a chance. Sylvain Delepierre
Hi, I also have problems with downloading Pacific North West that I purchased last week (FSS0207711). Since Thursday, I tried at least 10 times the download. It stops each time at 99.9% and never resumes (even after letting it on all night long). I used 2 different download managers (FlashGet and Free Download Manager) and both stop at 99.9%. An e-mail to fss support suggests that file is corrupted and to donwload it again after cleaning browser cache and so on... But it still doesn't work. I now try to download from another computer with FlashGet but this one stopped at 75% and since yesterday it has downloaded only another 3% more. Are there known issues with the download center? Should I choose a digital media service? Regards, Sylvain Delepierre
