hjmx
Just purchased and installed FTX Southern Alaska. But unfortunately even with moderate settings and UT Alaska completely disabled, I can't use SAK and Aerosoft's wonderful Anchorage/Lake Hood airport scenery together. I have never had such kind of stutters before. I can't say what fps I have because fps variance goes up to 90% (should be less than 10%). Is anybody able to use both scenery titles together? lonewulf47
I can confirm the issue. I experience the very same. I was also unable to load PANC directly when FTX Southern Alaksa was active. FSX locked up at ~82% (when adjusting Scenery Objects). Oskar
Wolter van der Spoel
before going overboard have a read here first => http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/56575-aerosofts-panc-ted-stevens-international-airport-by-sim-wings-compatibility-with-ftx-southern-alaska-sak/
Holger Sandmann
Hi guys, I assume you've seen and applied the information in this thread? http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/56575-aerosofts-panc-ted-stevens-international-airport-by-sim-wings-compatibility-with-ftx-southern-alaska-sak/ Generally speaking, probably the largest fps impact with SAK in an urban area like Anchorage are the night lights. Thus, I'd suggest testing whether using the FTX Day switch (see SAK manual) makes a difference for you. Cheers, Holger
lonewulf47
Ok, thanks for pointing to this compatibility thread. I will give it a try. Not going overboard at all (at least not intentional ) Oskar
hjmx
Wolter, Holger sorry, I had totally forgotten to have a look into the compatibility forum. Thank you to bring this back to my mind. Everything works fine now with FTX SAK and AS PANC. Harry
