RJ
Hi, Does anyone know what kinds of filters are used to enhance the images in the product pages? Is it some kind of Photoshop filter, like Nik Software, Alien Skin or something else? I want to reproduce this technique for the images I'm making. Thanks and cheers, J. Adam Banks
Same here - except that I don't even use ENB, SweetFX or whatever. I tend to want completely raw grabs to begin with - with no loss of colour or tonal detail, so that *IF* I want to add effects I can always do it later. Rubbish in, rubbish out as they say! I think time of day, weather effects and careful composition account for 99.9% of the quality of the image. I'm lucky enough to own Photoshop (for my web work) and though it has endless filters, I rarely use them. What any good GFX program *does* give you, though, is good interpolation when you resize/resave images or or good jpeg compression routines that'll keep your filesizes small without too much degradation.
