Adam Banks
I wondered if any NZNI users could take a quick look at their NZWN to compare and/or tell me what I can do about this: Various mesh settings smooth this out slightly - visually - but the bump is still there. Looks like I have an elevation problem somehow. I originally had Robin Corn's RealNZ Wellington installed before I added FTX/NZNI. I thought I'd uninstalled RealNZ NZWN cleanly, but it looks like there's an incorrect elevation left over in my FSX somehow. Any ideas on how to correct this? TIA. Adam. rlaycock
Hi Adam I can’t help with how to fix the problem, however I have a screenshot to compare, I don’t have the issue. Hope this helps Bob
Tim Harris
Hi Adam, Run a search for 'NZWN' within your main FSX folder, and see what comes up There are 8 x files tagged with 'NZWN' within FTX_NZNI
Adam Banks
Thanks for the confirmation, Bob! Tim - I think I've found the problem: NZWNmin.bgl (a 2008 file) in the scenery/world/scenery folder ... looked like a rogue to me, so I renamed it to NZWNmin.OFF. Seems to have cured it ... so far!!!! I think it's a leftover from RealNZ "Across the Strait".
