I have managed to turn off the keyboard lights but can anybody tell me how to turn off the other blue lights on laptop lid and speakers? Thanks in advance for your help
John Venema
Go into the BIOS on bootup and there is a section where you can disable them all.
Ryan Mason
See Wombat, in my line of work I crave a computer with a backlit keyboard, the lid lights etc I would want off but the backlit keyboard would be fantastic!
wombat
thanks John, I have now got the lights on the lid to go off but the speaker and touchpad lights are still on, even though I have them as turned off in the bios, is there something I am doing wrong? John Venema
There is a Dell application (which is one of the first things I removed) which controls all the lights as well. Try looking for applications in the Start menu under "Dell". One of them does it.
