John Venema Posted October 20, 2008 Share Posted October 20, 2008 Hello all, Had a chance to briefly play with REX during beta testing. Most of these shots are taken around Hinchinbrook Island area and a few from Broome; both in FTX AU GREEN. These are straight screen grabs to JPEG using FRAPS, with zero editing. Resized from their original 1920x1200. To get this environment, I fired up the REX GUI, had a 3 minute play with selecting some clouds, water, skies etc and then just flew. Pretty simple process really, and the results speak for themselves. These are all 1024 clouds, not 4096. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Most of them are overly colored to give a certain effect. But that truly looks real. It's not too bright, not too orange, just perfect. Kudos to the REX team and its testers.
