Sundancer
Good evening, In the NRM User Guide version 1.0 December 2010 on Page 11 is a picture of a lake with a huge building on the opposite side of the lake, somewhere in NRM I presume. Probably it is a well known building for the 'locals', but not for me. Can someone tell me where this building is and what kind of building it is. It looks like a hotel, but.... Holger Sandmann
Hi Fred, that would be the Chateau Lake Louise in Banff National Park: http://www.enjoybanff.com/images/banffHotels/fairmontChateauLakeLouiseExt2.jpg . The closest airport is Banff airstrip (CYBA) about 40 miles to the southeast though that airstrip has been closed in the real world. The geographic location of the hotel is marked in our Google Earth .kmz file; it's N51*25' W116*13'. Cheers, Holger
Sundancer
Hi Holger, Yes, definitely that's the building. I'll take a look around there when I'm flying next time. Thank you very much for your quick response. Cheers -Fred-
