Since the release of the PAKT service pack 1, Return to Misty Moorings has been busy working on several enhancements for the Ketchikan Harbor, Tongass Narrows and the surrounding area.

We're almost ready to release Rod Jackson's shoreline scenery for Ketchikan Harbor. Dex Thomas and Rob Abernathy have been hard at work on new maritime AI Traffic that traverses the waterway area. Dex has come up with a new cruise ship, the "Veendam" and several fishing boats which add to the shipping traffic in the area. Rob's working on putting a ferry that will cross from the harbor area to the airport and back. Dex has also been working alongside Kim Gowney on new float plane AI Traffic that works the Ketchikan Harbor as well.

I've been trying out some ideas for PAKT vegetation but that's a work in progress. However I did get some work done on the "Veendam" mooring area along the shore. Adding some detail to the area like car parking, people gathered getting ready to board the ship for departure, etc.

There's always something brewing at RTMM and we love the "Pacific Fjords" area. More to come soon so stop on by and take a look.

Here's some shot's of our work on the harbor. Enjoy and thanks for your interest in Return to Misty Moorings.

In addition to the Ketchikan harborside enhancements, Jeff Greene and I have placed two small enhancements on the PAKT Airport property. There is a Cambria Icefield Research Project tour operator office up on the same level as the airport ramp. And just down the hill is the CIRP cargo office by Jeff that coordinates deliveries out to the CZST CIRP Base. Each of these scenery addons are now ready on the CIRP page at Return to Misty Moorings.

"If you want it, here it is, come and get it. But you better hurry cause it's going fast."

Return to Misty Moorings is pleased to let you know that the Ketchikan Harbor Project is now ready for download to owners of the ORBX PAKT airport and service patch one.

Rod Jackson's shoreline scenery is now available in our scenery section under "K". It's a framerate friendly scenery area that adds some color and atmosphere to the area.

Then look for the "Site Map" link at to top right menu area and then "Enhancements" to get some new AI additions. Dex Thomas and Kim Gowney's new AI Float plane traffic Is now ready to bring the Ketchikan harbor alive with plenty of seaplane activityanDes Thomas has also reworked the AI Shipping traffic for the Tongass Narrows so that conflicting vessels have plenty of space.

Best of all though, Dex has added a new cruise ship,"Veendam", that works the narrows along with fishing vessels, luxury yachts, container ships, a coast guard cutter on patrol and the beautiful "Dawn Princess" cruise ship that departs every hour on the hour.

On the CIRP page is our airport offices for CIRP at Ketchikan airport. Still in the works for the harbor project is a ferry boat that crosses the narrows from the city side to the airport and back. Rob Abernathy is putting the final touches on that. I will soon have a cruise liner terminal area enhancement that adds some color, vehicles and other items near the "Veendam" and "Dawn Princess" parking areas.

So come on over to "Misty's Place" and check out what's new.
