We check traffic . Take-Off runway 14 . Airborne . We activate the autopilot . You go up the train and flaps are retracted . On flight . We recheck traffic (See 3 planes near Vancouver Int'l (CYVR) . We switch to NAV-GPS (Vancouver Seen on the right) . We check the available runway . We will take 07 VOR with transition XIGOS . We recheck traffic . Monitoring the approach . We put the frequency 115.90 (YVR) on NAV1 . CYVR seen on the left . Vor YVR (2000'), we turns off the autopilot . Approach to Runway 07 . Taxi . Engine, lights and batteries closed . For connecting to FSX, i put the soft on my acer portable and with application IMTVNC (PlayBook app), i connect by IP address by wifi my playbook to my portable . Most of the iPad apps crash FSX because of messing with DirectX, but this looks really stable. I'm off to see if I can install SimTouch on iPad. Thank you indeed Clement (apology, no acute). micgrech Posted December 16, 2011 Share Posted December 16, 2011 Hi guys, I have simtouch as well, it is connected to a small monitor which sits on my saitek yoke. Pretty handy tool. I also have an ipad2. Would be good to have simtouch on iPad for touch screen use! I use apple app igmaphd to my iPad, works really good as a moving map.
