Phil Manhart Posted October 30, 2011 Share Posted October 30, 2011 I grew up a mere 20 miles from there and looked at it everyday. We still call it the Big Butte. The other two East of it are known as the Twin Buttes. Not modeled on top of the Big Butte is a watch station for brush fires that is manned during the Summer and Fall months. The airport is U46.
