maxter
Yup, did my first solo circuit today... in the trusty little Jabiru J160D What a buzz. It's sure a strange and unsettling feeling not having someone in the right seat... This is a culmination of something that I have wanted to do since I was 10... I'm sure my 2500+ hrs in the sim had some benefit, but I must admit, I did have to unlearn some bad habits, like having my head buried in the cockpit

wade583
Wow less than 11 hours, you must be a natural maxter. Either that or too much flight sim lol. Congratulations. Are you training for RA or PPL? I am 2 weeks from doing a trial flight in a J170D out of Archerfield. Cant wait. Wade

qantas747
Had my first flying lesson around 2 months ago in a C182 VH-SDN with G1000 at YSCN which was very special. Unfortunately the rest of my flights til PPL will be on a C172, going between G1000 and analogue cockpits. It was such a great experience, flying a real aircraft for the first time. But flying solo would be the next step up. Congratulations mate and I hope you have many happy hours flying solo. See you in the skies!
