Bassman
As per my profile I live in Melbourne, Vic, Australia GMT + 10. I had "Automatically detect DST" ticked however my forum date would not update. It only shows the correct day light saving time if I select "manual adjust". In the word of Prof Julius Sumner Miller "why is it so"?
Bruce Hamilton
I didn't think countries outside the United States observed DST...

Jay Kae
Automated detection usually only works if Geo Services are running on your machine, which they most likely are not
Bassman
Hi Bruce, your profile does'nt indicate where you are from? Anyway, most states in Australia observe daylight saving time during summer except for Queensland, Western Australia and Northern Territory (all of whom think they are their own little country anyway ;D )
