Bassman
One thing that annoys me (annoy is a tad strong but can't think of another) about aircraft software is that unless one is an expert in using various tools, one is stuck with a rego that does not relate to one's home country, in my case Australia. You need to be a rocket scientist to work your way thru layers (presuming one has an understanding of "layers" which In really don't have. Could developers create batch files or something that easily enables a buyer to change the rego number? i.e. in my case I would like all my aircraft to be VH-DAN. Ryan Mason
Hi Dan, It has already been done with the default MS planes, you can change the rego in one of the selection windows and it displays on the plane. For others you can change it in the aircraft.cfg file under the atc ID entry, but alas if it is painted on the plane you will also have to change the paint unfortunately. tim_A
There are a few addon planes that take the reg from the UI (Ant's Tecnam Sierra I think is one), but not many for sure.
John York
Yes, I can understand that problem. It doesn't annoy me because I change the number in the 'details' page for the aircraft mainly because i can only remember my own! Age you know.
