Aaron Myers
Hey all, I got a nice little morning flight in around the Pacific Fjords area which was of course a blast. Such fun exploring the great outdoors from the comfort of my own home. Enjoy, I did! Sitting at a peaceful Waglisla seaplane base very early in the morning. Having swung around I make my escape with the rising sun behind me, and rain showers all around. Making my way to a towering 3500 feet to enjoy the view. Sun climbing a bit higher now as the yellow starts to fade. Enjoying the zig-zag in between the mini-mountains. I saw Carter lake coming up on the 'ole moving map and knew I should at least make a quick stop. Any Eureka fans out there? Ok, we're off again. To where I had no idea or concern. Because everywhere looks like this... This is apparently Elephant Head Mountain. I guess I can see it. Rain never did let up. Must be December in British Columbia. Having found a destination in Hartley Bay, I descend to the base. Thanks for looking.

Matthew Kane
Great set of shots. Sunrise shots up there this time of year are the best as the sun is late to rise (around 8:30) and it takes a while as it is so far north. Very cool
