tatankamani
Hi, may be a minor bug or possibly not. I was searching for the Mist Fjords National Monument, according to the red star in the .kmz - file, but I could not find it
Holger Sandmann
Hi Bruno, sorry if that placement marker is a bit confusing. Technically it should be a large polygon because Misty Fjords National Monument is a protected area of almost 10,000 sq km. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Misty_Fiords_National_Monument The term "National Monument" is used by the US National Park Service for both historic sites, like an old fort, and large or small natural landmarks. Death Valley is another well-known and large National Monument. Cheers, Holger
tatankamani
Hi Holger, thank you for the explanation. In Google Earth, I detected a picture, showing a big waterfall. The pitcture is titled Misty Fjords National Monument, and thought this waterfall is the so callled monument. I searched the area in PFJ, for the waterfall. After I identified clearly the location, but no waterfall depicted, I decided to ask. I am sorry for taking your time. Thank you for that great scenery. Greetings from Austria Bruno
