Right Stuff!

Well, that "right stuff" doesn't apply to me  ;D but I have been looking at getting the X-1A for a long time; I know it's not a new release but it is certainly a very in-depth aircraft with lots to learn. Being of short-attention span, I opted for the first flight with the "easy-start" red button (you can't use Ctrl+E in this plane!)

Started out from Tindal RAAF Base deep in AU Red territory! It's my favourite area for testing all things fast.

I only just got the wheels up and I'm here already!

This thing is unstoppable!

The sky is getting darker!

Finally nosed over at over 100,000 feet!

No shots of a perfect landing as I emptied the fuel out far too early to glide in and smacked into the red dust at least a couple of clicks from the threshold!  :-[

This is an awesome ride, with complex systems (huge manual to read) and also a heck of a lot of fun! A real beast!

this just may be what I'm looking for.

I forget that FSX has the space stuff/high alt.

I would love to see the curvature of the earth

who makes this?

Brian, I got it from Xtreme Prototypes, from our friendly neighbourhood Flightsim Store! I really do like this!
