Dexter Dog
Well, that "right stuff" doesn't apply to me but I have been looking at getting the X-1A for a long time; I know it's not a new release but it is certainly a very in-depth aircraft with lots to learn. Being of short-attention span, I opted for the first flight with the "easy-start" red button (you can't use Ctrl+E in this plane!) Started out from Tindal RAAF Base deep in AU Red territory! It's my favourite area for testing all things fast. I only just got the wheels up and I'm here already! [img width=1120 height=700]http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/images/8822010_9_28_21_34_30_390.jpg The sky is getting darker! [img width=1120 height=700]http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/images/9122010_9_28_22_5_43_843.jpg Finally nosed over at over 100,000 feet! [img width=1120 height=700]http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/images/8882010_9_28_22_6_41_468.jpg No shots of a perfect landing as I emptied the fuel out far too early to glide in and smacked into the red dust at least a couple of clicks from the threshold! This is an awesome ride, with complex systems (huge manual to read) and also a heck of a lot of fun! A real beast!
