Our Home Worlds (#6 - Bluebear (Ulrich) & Pilot 100 (Brian))

Recommended Posts

Hi all.  As you send in your home airports over in Meaningless Topic #214, I'm visiting each to take a look. Below is the sixth set (I'm going down the submission list in order). [Orbx planes and Global Trees HD used throughout]

1. EDLE, Essen/Mulheim. [Bluebear (Ulrich) - Duisburg, Northrhine, Westphalia, Germany.] With a story going back before Roman times, Westphalia has a lot to offer history buffs. Mostly flat, it nevertheless offers plenty of scenic spots. It also offers lots of good places to eat and to visit for quality entertainment. Take a flight and enjoy!

2. EDLE and surroundings. Fields, forests, and urban life all nicely mixed.

3.YMMB, Moorabbin. [Pilot 100 (Brian)- Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.] Melbourne is Australia's cultural center and is usually ranked as one of the most livable cities in the world. Brian named three airports as home for him. The first, Moorabbin, is a suburb of Melbourne. Looks like you'd better stay tight with ground control if you want to taxi here!

4. YTDN, Tooradin. This airport is about 55 km from downtown Melbourne. Right by the ocean and a couple of tiny islands. Fun place to fly!

5. YTYA. Tyabb. Tyabb is another suburb of Melbourne about 53 km from downtown. The paved airport is about an inch up from the Fox's left wingtip. The community is home to about 3,500 people. All have shrimp on the barbie and would be glad to see you! 😁

Thanks to Ulrich and Brian for opening these two doors for us!
