Honeycomb Bravo single/twin mod

When I bought my Bravo I quickly configured it for single engine/twin engine use.  I made some cardboard covers for each of the twin levers, black, blue and red, which when pushed over each pair of throttles 'converted' them to single lever action. For twin engine flights I just removed these covers. But they never looked particularly good so I looked at alternatives.

Initially I was looking at 3D printing covers to replace the cardboard ones but it looked like it was going to become too involved.

I looked at other options and settled on hollow brass rods that can be inserted into holes drilled into the handles. But that's not suitable for throttle levers because of the wiring for the TOGA button. A bit of 2mm thick plastic and araldite gave me the answer, 7mm brass rod through the plastic with 6mm brass rod as the insert.

The attached photos show the mechanics of the mod, it works well enough. Just insert the inner brass rod through the holes for single engine flight, remove for twin engine use.

Update: the mounts I glued on the throttle levers let go, just a bit of uncoordinated pressure while in VR and the glue let go, so now I have made aluminium replacement mounts that don't need glue. Looks a bit over the top in the close up photos but from normal distance they almost look like something you'd see in WWII cockpit!
